What is MYAI?

Memphis Youth Arts Initiative is one of the region’s most innovative performing arts centers, providing high-quality, interactive, multidisciplinary performing arts experiences for 100+ school-age youth annually at our 2 Memphis-Shelby County campuses. Founded in 2019 to provide access to performing arts for all of Memphis and surrounding areas, MYAI offers a broad array of free and affordably priced arts experiences including life skill workshops, instrumental and vocal teaching, drama, varied dance instruction, year-round academic enhancement, mentoring, performing arts productions, community events, and more.

Memphis Youth Arts Drumline has been invited to represent Memphis in a drumline battle and performance appearance at drum corp international 50th year anniversary finals! We made history last year in the first-ever debut for a performing arts group like ours and they want us back to battle and show off what Memphis Youth Talent has to offer!

TRIO can provide assistance and is free, provided by ASU Mid-South and the Department of Education. EOC counselors work one-on-one with your students to complete the FAFSA, admission applications, career exploration and enrollment into the school any your participants choose.
